Sivas Ulu Mosque, Sultan of the Anatolian Seljuk State II. Kılıç Arslan 11 sons of the country between the reign of Kutbeddin Melikşah ruler of the region between Sivas-Aksaray Kızılarslan bin Ibrahim in the years 1196-1197 was built by Kul Ahi, the mosque in the central district of Sivas.

It is known that the mosque was repaired by Izzeddin Keykavus I in 1212 and the minaret was built in 1213. During the restoration by Sivas Governorship in 1955, both construction and repair inscriptions were found.
