Mount Nemrut is a mountain with a height of 2,150 meters in the vicinity of Ankar mountains near Kahta district in Adıyaman province. Taurus is located in the mountain range.

It is within the borders of Adıyaman province in Southeast Anatolia Region. It was declared in 1988. The surface area is 13,827 hectares. The source value of the national park is the archaeological remains found in this area, known as “Commagene larda in ancient times.
