         Karatepe-Aslantas National Park was established in 1958 in the Mediterranean Region, 22 km far from the Kadirli District of Osmaniye and on the edge of the Ceyhan River.

In the Mili park there are settlements and fortress ruins of the Young Hittite period (8th century BC). In this area there are remains of Roman and Byzantine civilizations.

National park; There are wild animals such as red pine, oak species and vegetation of maquis, deer, wild boar, jackal, rabbit, fox, turac, partridge, and Ceyhan River. Vast natural area featuring ancient citadel ruins, many trails & picnicking in a hilltop setting.
