Mencilis Cave, Karabük, located in the village of Bulak border is Turkey's longest cave 5.

The cave is a multi-storey structure consisting of active and fossil sections extending horizontally. It measures 6052 m in length. Safranbolu's drinking water from the lowest floor consists of three interconnected floors.

The cave has three entrances. The first entrance of the underground river closes with a siphon after 30 m. This area is called Water Cave. The main entrance is the second entrance on the valley slope 300 m north. It is 75 m high from the valley floor. 148 steps are reached by stairs. The third entrance is located on the slope above the main entrance.

The first and second floors of the cave have been completed and fossilized. The darkening of stalactites and stalagmites shows this. The underground stream flows through the bottom layer and is active, its formation and development continues. The creek flowing through the cave creates numerous closed siphons and lakes.

The middle floor of the cave was opened to tourism. In this area stalactite, stalagmite, column, curtain and wall samples are found abundantly. The slime area suitable for the mud bath called Ajda's bed is in this section. The underground creek forms a 15 m waterfall inside the cave.

The cave temperature is 12 ° C, relative humidity is around 70-75%. There are remains of a wall made with Horasan mortar in the entrance. It suggests that you were used as a shelter in the past.
