Mecidiye Bridge, or Meriç Bridge, is the bridge that was started to be built in 1842 during the reign of Abdülmecit and completed in 1847. It is located on the Meriç River on the Edirne-Karaağaç road. It is 263 meters long, 7 meters wide, has 12 pointed arches on 13 legs and features sideways inclination. It is known that there was a sun motif in the dome of the bridge, which had a marble inscription.
