It is the commander responsible for the exhibition and protection of the artifacts and historical objects in and around Çimenlik Castle in Çanakkale.

Çanakkale Naval Museum Command consists of several parts:

The museum is open to all visitors during the Museums Week (18-24 May), to teachers during the Teachers Week (18-24 November), to all children during the April 23rd Children's Festivities week (16-26 April), and to the Tourism Week (15-22 April). free of charge to teachers and students, and to all visitors on 30 August, 29 October, 10 November, 18 March, 4 April, 1 July and 27 September.

In addition, UNESCO, ICOM, ICOMS, Council of Europe and yellow press card holders can also benefit from the entrance to the museum free of charge.

The Canakkale Naval Museum is open every day between 09.00 and 12.00 / 17.00 except Mondays and Thursdays.
Nusret
The same construction of the Nusret Mineship, which was built at the Commandership of Taşkızak Shipyard in Istanbul in 1982, is exhibited on a platform specially built in Çimenlik Park.

Plans and photographs at the entrance of the ship tell the story of the Nusret Mine Ship. On the lower deck, the course of the Battle of the Dardanelles is presented in panels and digital presentations. The original artifacts of the period, the berats of Nazmi Bey and the newspapers published in Ottoman and Latin about the Battle of Dardanelles are displayed.

In addition to this, mine rails and mines built on the ship's deck can be seen.

Canakkale Wars Specialized Library
It is the library where all domestic and foreign resources are collected and compiled.

The library is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; It is open between 09.30-11.45 and 13.30-16.30.

Souvenir Building
This building, which is located on the left side of the museum entrance, offers various publications related to Turkish Maritime and Çanakkale Wars. In addition, souvenirs that create marine connotations are also sold.

Picture and photo gallery
The building, which was built in 1927, bears architectural traces of the early Republic period. Two inscriptions on the right of the main entrance of the building, "Right Engineer Nafiz Nuri Engineer 1927" and "Architect Arif Süleyman 1927" is written on the left.

This building, which was first used as the Fortress Command, then the Naval Forces Command and Military Housing, was converted into a museum in 1982 as a Painting and Photo Gallery.

Today, mines are exhibited on the ground floor of the building. On the first floor, there is a model of the Bosphorus, where photographs of the period, uniforms, flags, weapons and military equipment are displayed.

On the second floor, 97 pencils and watercolor paintings by Mehmet Ali Laga, one of the fourth period military painters, are exhibited.
