          The Central Park is a 33-hectare city park on both sides of the Seyhan River. The park was opened in 2004, between the Sabancı Central Mosque in the south and the Galleria shopping center in the north. Turkey is the largest park.

Historical

In the past, there were citrus gardens, city bus station and empty lands against the river overflow. Over time, the bus station moved here. Galleria shopping center to the south of Demirköpr, the north of the Mimar Sinan Amphitheater was built. In 1998, 100 houses in the area were demolished and the Sinanpaşa suspension bridge connecting both sides was built. The park was opened in 2004.

Landscape

Central Park has more than 400,000 plants. 40 kinds of trees, 67 kinds of plants are decorated with. There are 12 pools, 2.2 hectares of children's playground, skate rink, amphitheater and circular terraces in the park. There is also a 3 km long jogging and cycling trail between the park and the street.
