Information About Duden Waterfall



          Duden Waterfall Antalya is approximately 10 km away from the city center. It is divided into two branches along the Düden Stream. Upper Duden Waterfall, which is about 7 km away from Antalya, is the Lower Duden (or Karpuzkaldıran Waterfall) and Varsak is 1 km away. The waterfalls separated into these two branches are poured into the Mediterranean.

 

          Upper Duden Waterfall is also known as Iskender Waterfall. It is said that Alexander the Great conquered Pamphylia in 334-33 BC, while sailing his horses through here.
