The building, which is an old Turkish house on Barbaros Street, was organized as a museum by the Hungarian Government, referring to the memories of Erdel Prince and Hungarian People's Liberation Hero II.Rakoczi Frençh, who lived between 1676 and 1735 in Tekirdağ. The museum, which belongs to the Hungarian government with its property and personal belongings, was opened to visitors on September 25, 1982. Among the exhibited works are the works that symbolize the Turkish-Hungarian relations and the unity of the two nations in the folk arts, as well as personal and family belongings of Rakoczi.
